The Boston Symphony was in town...

We got tickets to an Open Rehearsal for the Boston Symphony at Carnegie Hall.  Which means they were having a 'dress rehearsal' for their live performance later tonight.  The ticket price is substantially less.
This is down on 7th Avenue and easy to walk to (or ride a bus).
It was open seating, and we just enjoyed ourselves as everyone arrived and warmed up.
A very wonderful setting and every seat was a winner.
In an Open Rehearsal they check the lighting and sound.  There is also quite a bit of interaction with the conductor and the audience.  We enjoyed a great morning.
Now it's back to the apartment to grab a quick bite to eat and off to the Temple.  As great as these many wonderful sites are in New York, nothing is a great as being in the Temple.  Almost daily we meet people from around the country visiting Manhattan.  We get into a conversation with them and find we have someone that we each know.  We have many wonderful experiences in the Temple that let us know the Lord is watching over all of us.  We love New York City and serving in the Temple.
