The Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Carnegie Hall

We finally got to attend the FIRST event we bought tickets for when we arrived in New York the end of February.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra were performing at Carnegie Hall. This is the 4th time the Choir has performed in New York City since it began in in 1847....and their first time at Carnegie Hall! It was a big deal!
Guess who we ran into there? My cousin, Gaye, and her husband, David. They were here from Utah to hear their daughter perform with the Orchestra. It was fun to catch up and would we see them the next day in the temple!
Our seats were on the 4th Tier...a little high...but perfect to see the Choir and all that they were doing.
Guess who sat one row away from us? Good thing Gaye had notified me that they were coming or I might have gone into another cardiac arrest when I saw them!
The Choir and Orchestra were fabulous. It was a great performance.
Another great night at another great event. (Stan DID like it!)  As we were walking down the stairs he started singing.  So if he tells you that one of the highlights of New York was him singing at Carnegie Hall with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir- you can tell him to knock it off!!
