Because we are working the night shift at the temple, we saw a Wednesday Matinee. Down to Rockefeller Center we went and to the famous Radio City Music Hall....seen through the fountain.
We got settled in some great seats with our 'light-up' wristbands (part of the show). As the 5000 seat theater started to fill up, we realized that Stan was one of the few men there. It looked like 'girls afternoon out' ....for those over 70! There was lots of excitement in the air....and lots of last minute trips to the restroom!
During the 'NYC Sports Teams' segment of the show, I was one of the lucky ones that got thrown a box of popcorn...just like Chloe did! I handed it to a little boy that was sitting close to us....and we were both happy!
What a fun morning. Now....it's back to the temple to do something really meaningful. What a great place to live....and serve in!
